Deep Reach Technology provides Owner's Engineer services to clients developing complex offshore and deep-sea projects. Acting as the client's technical representative, DRT bridges the gap between project ownership and specialist contractors — providing independent engineering oversight, quality assurance, and expert guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.

Our Owner's Engineer practice draws on DRT's multidisciplinary expertise across lifting and conveyance systems, seabed handling, offshore platform design, subsea systems, and simulation and modelling. This breadth allows us to provide technically rigorous oversight across all engineering disciplines on a project, ensuring that contractor deliverables meet specification, schedule, and quality requirements.

DRT's Owner's Engineer team has supported clients through concept development, FEED, detailed design, procurement, fabrication oversight, offshore installation, and commissioning. We provide independent technical review of contractor designs, manage technical interfaces between packages, and represent the client's interests in technical discussions and dispute resolution.
